Lake House Living Areas – Take The Time To Energize Here
The Lake House living areas are where guests spend most of their time — relaxing, laughing, competing, or doing very little at all. One room is built for fun. The other is built for comfort. Together, they give everyone space to enjoy the house their own way.
Games Room
What was once the formal lounge is now a full games room and one of the standout spaces in the house. It’s large, open, and set up to keep kids, adults, and competitive mates entertained for hours.
The professional pool table takes centre stage and gets plenty of use. Alongside it sits a virtual pinball machine loaded with more than 1,300 tables, from old-school favourites to modern classics. There’s also a huge range of board games ready for family nights, rainy afternoons, or a few drinks and plenty of laughs.
This is the room where people end up staying longer than planned.
Family Lounge
The second living area is all about switching off. Big leather lounges, electric recliners, soft carpet, and a large TV make it the easiest place in the house to settle in after a day on the water or out exploring Lake Macquarie.
Put a movie on, stretch out with a book, or claim a recliner and disappear for an afternoon.
Work and Wi-Fi
If work needs attention, there’s a double desk with two curved monitors and reliable Wi-Fi, so checking in is simple without taking over the dining table.
Year-Round Comfort
Ducted air conditioning keeps both spaces comfortable through summer heat and winter nights. High ceilings and natural light keep the rooms feeling open and easy to live in.
The Best Part of the House
Some guests come for the lake and spend half the trip around the pool table. Others sink into a recliner and barely move. Both are good options.

The Lake House Jetty – Beautiful By Any Means
The Lake House jetty is where many guests end up spending most of their time. Early mornings with a coffee, afternoons fishing with the kids, boats tied up ready to go, sunset drinks by the water — it’s one of those places that quickly becomes the best part of the stay.
Private Jetty on Lake Macquarie
Set off the lower grassed area beside the slipway, the timber jetty gives you direct access to the lake. It’s solid, well kept, and built for real use — not just for looks. Bring chairs down, throw in a line, tie up the boat, or sit there doing absolutely nothing.
Fishing Straight From the Jetty
No need to drive anywhere or launch for hours to enjoy a good session. Guests regularly catch fish right from the jetty, including Bream, Flathead, Tailor, Whiting, Luderick, Mulloway, Squid, Salmon, Mullet and more. Blue Swimmer and Mud Crabs also turn up.
Kids love it because something is always happening. Serious fishers love it because quality fish come through. Everyone loves it because it’s easy.
Bring Your Boat
The jetty has six concrete mooring poles, cleats, and bumpers, making it simple to secure boats of many sizes. If you’re planning a boating or fishing trip, having your boat tied up out the front changes everything.
Swansea Heads is only around 15 minutes away by boat, giving quick access to offshore fishing and open water.
Kayaks and Swimming
Two kayaks are available for guests who want to get out on the water at a slower pace. Paddle the shoreline, explore the bay, or head out for a quiet morning run across the lake.
Swimming is also popular from the jetty, especially in warmer months. Guests should wear footwear in the water due to razor clams in some areas.
The Place Everyone Gathers
Some people come here for the fishing. Some for the boating. Some just like sitting on the jetty with a drink while the sun drops over the water. However you use it, this is the spot people remember.

Stunning Dining and Entertaining Areas
The Lake House was made for long lunches, easy dinners, and nights where nobody wants to leave the table. There are places to eat inside, outside, by the water, in the sun, or under cover with the BBQ going. Big family meals, quiet coffees, takeaway fish and chips, drinks at sunset — it all works here.
Main Dining Room
The main dining room looks straight across the lake with wide water views that change all day. Morning light pours in, afternoons glow, and sunset dinners do most of the work for you.
At the centre is a reclaimed Oregon timber table made from wood more than 100 years old, with seating for 8 to 10 guests. Solid chairs, plenty of room, and a space that feels special without trying too hard.
Aboriginal artwork on the walls adds warmth, colour, and character.
Casual Dining
For quick breakfasts, lunch with the kids, or a simple meal after a day out, there’s a second dining area beside the kitchen. It has a round timber table for four, plus two stools at the breakfast bar for whoever wants to keep the cook company.
Rear Deck
Just outside is a smaller rear deck with a high table and two chairs. Good spot for a morning coffee, a quiet drink, or five minutes away from everyone else.
Outdoor Entertaining Area
This is where groups usually end up. A large covered deck with timber flooring, a big dining setting, seating for up to 12 guests, Weber BBQ, and outdoor heating for cooler nights.
Cook outside, eat slowly, open another bottle, stay longer than planned.
There’s also a cushioned love seat tucked around the corner on the balcony — a favourite for coffee, chats, or doing nothing with a view.
Lower Terrace
A few steps down from the main deck is a large tiled terrace overlooking the lake with seating for up to eight. It’s a great middle ground between the house and the foreshore.
By the Water
Keep walking and you reach the lawn by the lake. There’s a concrete table with seating for six, room for kids to run around, and the jetty close by for fishing or heading out on the kayaks.
Plenty of Space to Spread Out
One group can be on the BBQ deck, kids on the lawn, someone hiding with coffee on the rear deck, and others inside setting the table. Everyone gets their own space, but still feels part of it. That’s what makes this place work so well.

Ample Parking For All
Arriving at the Lake House feels like reaching your own private waterfront retreat. Electric gates open to a wide driveway, neat grounds, and plenty of room to park, unload, and settle in. From the first minute, everything feels easy.
Parking
There’s space for at least five vehicles on the driveway, with extra street parking available if needed. Plenty of room for families travelling separately, visitors dropping by, or anyone bringing a boat.
The triple garage is not available for guest use. It remains locked for owner storage, but the driveway in front provides ample parking.
Grounds
The property sits on a large block with open lawns, trimmed hedges, and established gardens that give the home space and privacy. There’s room for kids to run, adults to relax, and everyone to spread out without feeling on top of each other.
Easy Access to the Water
A side walkway leads straight to the outdoor entertaining area, lakefront, and jetty, so moving between the house and the water is simple. Grab a towel, fishing rod, or drink and head down.
Further down the drive is the private slipway and boat launching cradle, another reminder that this is a genuine waterfront property built to enjoy the lake.
Fire Pit and Open Space
There’s a raised grassed area with a fire pit that comes into its own at night. Good spot for a few drinks, stories, toasted marshmallows, or sitting around the fire after dinner.
Lower down, a flat lawn area is perfect for backyard cricket, kicking a ball, setting up games, or simply lying in the sun.
Fresh Herbs and Fruit
Around the gardens you’ll find dwarf fruit trees and fresh herbs in season. Pick what’s ready, add it to dinner, or just eat it straight from the tree.
More Than Just a Yard
These grounds add a lot to the stay. Kids stay busy, adults slow down, and there’s always somewhere to sit, wander, fish, or gather. It gives the house breathing room — and that’s something guests notice straight away.

5 Spacious Bedrooms Each With Built-ins
With five bedrooms spread across the home, the Lake House gives families and groups the space to stay together comfortably while still having room to breathe. Every bedroom is designed for a proper holiday stay, with quality bedding, built-in storage, air conditioning, ceiling fans, and enough space to unpack instead of living out of a suitcase.
Main Bedroom Suite
Set upstairs for extra privacy, the main bedroom is the standout retreat of the house. Generous in size, it features a queen bed with quality linen, bedside tables, chest of drawers, TV, Bose speaker, and guest access to walk-in wardrobe space for longer stays. Large windows frame beautiful lake views, while the Juliet balcony is a perfect place for morning coffee or a quiet drink at sunset.
The ensuite adds another layer of comfort, with a two-person spa bath overlooking the water, twin vanities, separate shower, toilet, hair dryer, and quality towels. Ideal for winding down after a big day on the lake.
Bedrooms 2, 3 and 4
Three additional upstairs bedrooms are ideal for children, couples, or friends travelling together. Each room includes a double bed or larger, built-in wardrobes, premium linen, and climate control to keep every season comfortable.
Bedroom 3 also includes extra drawer storage and bedside furniture, making it a strong option for guests staying longer. Across all three rooms, the focus is simple: comfortable beds, useful storage, and quiet spaces to recharge.
Bedroom 5 – Kids Retreat
Bedroom 5 is a flexible room that works brilliantly for children or extra guests. A bunk layout includes a double bed on the bottom and a single above, comfortably sleeping up to three people.
Built-in wardrobes provide plenty of cupboard space, while air conditioning and garden views keep the room bright and comfortable. Families travelling with infants can also use the foldaway cot.
Shared Bathroom
Bedrooms 2, 3, 4 and 5 are serviced by a spacious shared bathroom with vanity, bathtub, separate shower, and a separate toilet nearby. This layout makes mornings much easier when several guests are getting ready at once.
Designed for Real Group Stays
Some holiday homes squeeze in beds and hope for the best. Lake House is set up properly. Parents can enjoy privacy, kids have their own rooms, friends can spread out, and everyone has storage space to settle in. That makes a real difference on stays longer than a weekend.

A Kitchen To Show Off Culinary Skills
A good holiday kitchen matters, and this one delivers. Spacious, bright, and looking straight across Lake Macquarie, the Lake House kitchen is a place where people naturally gather. Someone cooks, someone pours a drink, someone leans on the bench talking — it quickly becomes the centre of the house.
Views While You Cook
Large windows bring in natural light and wide lake views, turning everyday cooking into something far better than it should be on holiday. Morning coffee comes with water views, and dinner prep often happens with sunset in the background.
Properly Equipped
This is not a token holiday rental kitchen with a few tired basics. Guests have access to quality appliances, including a Smeg oven, Smeg dishwasher, Fisher & Paykel double-door fridge, microwave, and filtered water through the fridge door.
Plenty of bench space makes group meals easy, while generous cupboards and drawers mean there’s room for groceries, platters, and everything else that comes with a family stay.
Walk-In Pantry
A walk-in pantry adds even more storage and includes extra appliances ready to use, including a Thermomix, steamer, air fryer, blender, and more. Handy for quick breakfasts, family dinners, or guests who actually enjoy cooking.
Butler’s Pantry and Bar
Next to the main kitchen is a separate butler’s pantry and bar area with sink, extra cupboard space, and a dedicated wine fridge. It’s a smart setup that keeps drinks, prep space, and serving areas separate from the main kitchen.
For groups, it works brilliantly. One person cooks, another sets up drinks, and nobody is standing on top of each other.
Made for Real Stays
Quick breakfasts before heading out, seafood lunches after the lake, long dinners with friends, late-night snacks after pool and pinball — this kitchen handles all of it with ease. Some homes have a kitchen you use. This one is a kitchen you spend time in. Good views, quality appliances, loads of storage, and room for people to gather make it one of the most used spaces in the house.
